There is a lot of great food in Japan, as well as a lot of bad food. Some of it cheap, some expensive. From the 100 yen sushi places crammed full with families on a Sunday, to the places we only see in travel and food magazines, its great to be hungry in Japan. And while this is not a guide to eating out in Japan, you will get an idea of some of the great eating available in Japan.
